If your child was in kindergarten to eighth grade last school year, they are welcome in KidzKlub. Older kids may ask to help out in KidzKlub.
The KidzKlub experience consists of two elements and will run all Summer.
KidzKlub LIVE! happens the first Sunday of the month and acts as a launching point for parents to learn about the Big Idea with their kids.
KidzKlub is a weekly event for kids. It includes fun, interactive ways to share God’s Word and time with small groups for application.
KidzKlub Take Out is a creative resource that families receive at the end of KidzKlub LIVE! each month. It ties in directly to our Big Idea and what the families experienced together at KidzKlub LIVE!. Each Take Out comes with weekly instructions that guide parents on how to reinforce the Big Idea in lots of fun and applicable ways.
It’s something that every parent wants their kid to learn. Actually, they are God’s Big Ideas, such as self- control, honesty, patience, and gratitude . There is a different Big Idea each month that is the over-riding theme in KidzKlub. Thinking into the future, we have over thirty monthly themes to share!
KidzKlub exists to partner with parents. We believe that parents are ultimately responsible for the spiritual development of their children (Deuteronomy 6:4-9). We also recognize that parents have a whole lot more time with their kids than anyone at church. In fact, each year kids spend about 3,000 hours with their parents versus the 40 or so that they will spend attending church on Sunday. As a result, no one has more influence over a child than his or her parent. Because of this, we believe that what happens at home is more important than what happens at church. We believe that it is our role to partner with parents by providing a plan that will give them the tools they need to lead their kids spiritually. This plan is launched at KidzKlub LIVE! With the BIG IDEA. During the rest of the month, it continues with KidzKlub and “KidzKlub Take Out”.
